Bishop Dr. Darlingston G. Johnson is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited (HIM-U), a global organization with a transformative presence in over 25 nations, having established more than 450 churches, schools, ministries, and radio stations. Harvest operates across six continents—Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America—impacting lives worldwide. In addition to his international leadership, he serves as the Lead Pastor of Harvest Intercontinental Church in Olney, Maryland, a thriving multicultural congregation of over 1,600 members from more than 45 nations.

A visionary leader and scholar, Bishop Johnson is the Founding International Chairman of the Interdenominational College of Charismatic Bishops and Apostolic Overseers and the Founder and Chancellor of Harvest Intercontinental American University, based in Liberia, West Africa. Academically distinguished, he graduated summa cum laude from Oral Roberts University in 1981, earning his Master of Divinity there in 1984, along with the Outstanding Master of Divinity Student Award. He later completed his Doctor of Ministry degree at Phillips University in 1986 and was honored with an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College in 2009.

Bishop Johnson currently holds key leadership positions in several influential organizations. He is the Founder and CEO of Frontline Ministerial Alliance, Chairman of the African Strategic Leadership Prayer Network, and a former Executive Board Member of the Awakening America Alliance. A prolific author, he has written several books, including The New You: Discovering Your New Life (2021), Grace That Overcomes: Life-Transforming Devotions (2016), Light for Your Journey: Essential Building Blocks for a Successful Life (2008), Anointed for the Marketplace (2008), This One Thing I Do (2006), and Goodbye Worry (2003). His works are available on Amazon and through Harvest Olney.

In 2023, the Alliance for Black Pentecostal Scholarship recognized Bishop Johnson as one of the “Top 50 Blacks to Impact Pentecostalism Worldwide” at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

His global influence has been acknowledged by both religious and civil institutions, earning him the Key to the Cities of Douala (Cameroon), Monrovia (Liberia), and Freetown (Sierra Leone). He is married to Pastor Chrys Johnson, M.A., his partner in life and ministry, and together they are blessed with a daughter and three grandchildren.

Pastor Chrys Johnson, alongside her husband Bishop Darlingston Johnson, co-founded Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited, a thriving global ministry with over 450 churches worldwide. As the senior pastor at Harvest Intercontinental Church in Olney, Maryland, she leads the dynamic Family Ministry, encompassing Couple’s Ministry, Children’s Ministry, and premarital counseling.

Driven by a deep passion for strengthening marriages and nurturing families, Pastor Chrys utilizes her training as a counselor to emphasize preventative care within relationships. Her vision is to see healthy, Christ-centered families fulfilling their God-given purpose. This commitment extends beyond the local church, as she offers counseling to couples from various churches, ensuring support for all. She inspires others to believe in the possibility of successful marriages. She actively trains others and champions the cause of strong families, recognizing them as a vital foundation for a thriving society.

Pastor Chrys earned a B.Sc. from the University of Liberia, Liberia and an M.A. from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

She is married to Bishop Darlingston Johnson. She travels often with him both nationally and internationally to minister. They are blessed with a married daughter and 3 wonderful grandchildren.
