LOCAL MISSIONS
LOCAL MISSIONS
Overview
Harvest's missions department creates, mobilizes, and provides leadership to individuals and community outreach teams that are engaged in local or international community services and other acts of kindness. It also creates opportunity to the local church’s members to serve in the community.
The ultimate goal is to impact communities with the life-transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ and to glorify God through acts of love and kindness; thereby making as many disciples for Christ as we possibly can in our generation.

NURSING HOME VISITATION
Our Nursing Home Ministry visits area nursing homes to share the love of Jesus with residents. During these visits, the team sings with the elderly and disabled, share a scripture or two and then prays for them. On special occasions such as Mother’s, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, the team also carries small gifts for the residents.

The team also provides personal care items to the homeless, and carry out special events at shelters. The team members demonstrate the love of Christ to homeless by praying with them, and the sharing of the gospel.

PRISON MINISTRY
Our prison ministry team provides opportunities for ministry in local prisons and detention centers. The team is geared toward serving those incarcerated by: visiting them, sharing of the gospel, and providing services to their families and loved ones when necessary. The team members demonstrate the love of Christ to the family unit by services which strengthen the families in prayer, and court support.

USA MISSIONS FELLOWSHIP
USA Missions Fellowship creates fellowship opportunities for Americans of Bethel World Outreach Church as well as interested others regardless of church affiliation. The members tell their story as Americans by sharing and celebrating their varied cultural differences formed from all across America, and experiences that make them unique people. The Fellowship also serves as an outreach platform to introduce other Native born Americans to the Kingdom of God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
